India Batson, a lifestyle and parenting influencer, has revealed that she experienced her third pregnancy loss.

In a post to Instagram on Feb. 7, Batson, 31, shared that she had learned in the past week that her “baby had stopped growing” after an ultrasound. She had previously found out that she was pregnant in January, nine months after she and her husband, Daniel, welcomed their son, Arlo José, in April.

“Daniel and I were so excited and honestly shocked to find out I was pregnant the very first cycle I ovulated,” she shared in her heartbreaking caption. “We immediately started picturing life with two under two. Loud, chaotic and full of joy!”

Continued Batson, detailing the tragic update: “No woman should ever leave the hospital without her baby. We are sad, angry, confused, and heartbroken. The emotions feel endless.”

Batson shared that — even though she is now a mother of one — her miscarriage was still “gut-wrenching.”

“This baby was deeply loved, cherished, and celebrated. We are grateful for the short time we had with them,” she wrote. “Until we meet again, our angel baby. I know you are with your two siblings until we arrive.”
