The National Weather Service is predicting from the coast to the Cascades foothills, there’s a chance of freezing temperatures and snowfall from Feb. 16 to Feb. 18, and a little of this snow may stick.
Snowfall won’t be heavy and will be limited to the morning hours, but will pick up over time. In Eugene, the NWS predicts less than a 10% chance of snow Feb. 16, «likely» snow Feb. 17 and «occasional» snow Feb. 18. Any snow that falls will melt during the day.

How much snow could Eugene-Springfield get?
Whatever snow sticks won’t be deep. NWS says there’s a 1% chance Eugene sees at least 2 inches of snow, but warned people should still drive carefully because even 0.1 inch of snow, which is what is predicted to fall in Eugene Feb. 18, is enough to impact travel.

NWS forecasts more snow in the Cascades, where snowfall is predicted every day from Feb. 13 to Feb. 18. The Willamette Pass has between a 50% and 60% chance of getting at least a foot of snow next week.
