TUCSON — A regional SWAT team led a law enforcement operation Feb. 13 in a neighborhood about 2 miles northwest of Nancy Guthrie’s home in the Catalina Foothills.
Authorities would not immediately confirm the target of the operation or whether anyone was detained. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department said it would provide a written statement.
Sheriff’s vehicles blocked the intersection of East Placita De Graciela and Camino de Michael in a neighborhood very similar to Guthrie’s.
This was the second time in the past week authorities conducted a tactical operation.
On Feb. 10, investigators detained a man after a traffic stop in Rio Rico and conducted a court-authorized search of his home. The man ultimately was released.
