Frontier Airlines dropping 10 cities. Any in Florida?

Ultra-low-cost Frontier Airlines has confirmed it has ended or will end service to 10 cities, citing lack of demand.

None are in Florida, according to a list posted Thursday, Feb. 12. from industry watchdog The Points Guy. But Florida Frontier travelers should be aware these cities will be off the table.

However, the Denver-based airline is adding new routes, including 14 in the Sunshine State with destinations such as Salt Lake City, Raleigh-Durham, Columbus and Indianapolis. Frontier also launched a discounted all-you-can-fly annual pass, first-class seats, and new partnerships with JustFly and FlightHub.

Frontier isn’t the only low-cost airline streamlining its service, Last year, as Spirit struggled with its second bankruptcy inside of a year, it ended service to 13 airports, cut its fleet and announced plans to focus on core cities such as Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Detroit as part of its restructure plans. It’s also beefing up Spring Break flights to and from Florida.

Here’s what’s coming up.
