Spartanburg police investigate hit-and-run

The Spartanburg Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run that left a woman injured.

At approximately 6:15 a.m. on Thursday, February 12, police responded to the intersection of John B. White Sr. Boulevard and Camelot Drive regarding a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

Upon arrival, a witness said they observe a woman crossing John B. White Sr. Boulevard when she was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound. Following the collision, the driver did not stop and left the scene, driving toward Interstate 26.

The victim was transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center for treatment. Her current condition has not been released at this time.

Police described the vehicle involved in the collision as a white four-door sedan with tinted windows.
